Where Code Meets Craft

I’ve spent the better part of my career immersed in the world of Software Technology. After earning my M.Sc and working as a Senior Engineer, I became accustomed to a world of logic, precision, and finding the most efficient way to solve a problem.

But I eventually found myself craving something tangible; something I could build with my hands that didn't live on a screen. That search led me to leathercraft. I quickly realized that the same discipline required to write clean, scalable code is exactly what’s needed to create a perfect saddle stitch or a glass-like burnished edge. Sneaky Leather was born out of that obsession with detail.
 

Solving the "Quality Gap" in India

As I got deeper into the craft, I hit a wall. In India, it was incredibly difficult to find the genuine, high-grade tools and materials used by master artisans in Japan, Europe, and the US. I was tired of 'good enough' supplies; I wanted the best. To clear that hurdle, I did the legwork to bring those global brands here myself. Sneaky Leather is the result of that; a place where the Indian maker community can finally get their hands on the world’s finest heritage brands.

Why the "Engineer’s Eye" Matters

When you pick up a tool from my shop, it’s there because it passed my own quality check. Coming from a software and engineering background, I’m naturally wired to look past the aesthetics. I care about the material science, the manufacturing tolerances, and how that tool is going to perform after a year of heavy use at the bench.
